Kaffee Espresso Kolonial in Munich

For me the best cake and coffee in the world and super nice staff. Everything to take away. I'm already looking forward to being able to sit in the cafe again. The decor looks very nice :)

Coffee, coffee and even more coffee in the most varied of variations. If you don't like coffee, there is a large selection of tea and cocoa. Definitely try the dark cocoa. Yummy! You can sit outside or in the cafe. There is a small separate room. Simply open your laptop, get started, enjoy coffee and listen to the soft Latin American sounds. Discussions with customers can also be conducted there in a very relaxed manner. The warm, slightly artistic atmosphere invites you to roll up your sleeves and chat casually. Since I haven't tried anything hearty yet, I can unfortunately only give one clear recommendation for the cake. :)

Waiter does not serve customers according to order, but rather who shouts the loudest! It was rude that the lady who was standing behind me this morning was brought forward, although he had previously emphasized that he was serving the guests in order after she had shown herself to be particularly impatient. I already had a lot of waiting time behind me ... such behavior towards customers is not acceptable.

cappuccino was a milk bomb but the foam was really good. €3,40 for an average coffee was a little extreme but the waitress with the long blonde locs was legit the rudest server of all time she completely ignored us for so long we almost left and she only came over after we gave her the glaring eyes :(

Had 1 cappuchino and some paistry. Most satisfying. I loved the atmosphere as well.

Were there more often, now again after a long time. Unfortunately we were ignored and just not served. Only 1 person as staff who was busy with coffee to go. After 15 minutes we left. If there should be self-service, you should let us know or maybe correct the prices. Too bad it used to be a great cafe.

Good coffee and pretzel panini

Completely disorganized shop. Was there for the second time and was disappointed again. The breakfast came without cutlery, bread and salt / pepper, which was brought only after repeated requests. We were 3t and had to eat separately. Here you have the feeling that nobody thinks. The good coffee was positive.

Nice ambience when something is completed and you can hardly get between the tables. Staff was not quite as attentive during my visit and seemed somewhat overwhelmed to have to look after both coffee and coffee sales.

Nice ambience and the coffee makes something. For breakfast, the price-performance ratio is not justified in my opinion. The egg looks scary and is darker inside than it should be ...

When the old service was still there it was great. Now everyone sees and tastes the same coffee - see also the pictures. No, it has not been ordered the same. : / Please, please, please, improve again

Came here for breakfast. Cappuccino was amazing. Tasty croissants, but when you eat it everything becomes messy bcs of crumbs. Very cosy, works early in the morning. There are another options for breakfast as well. Little bit expensive for me. Stuff is very friendly and English speaking, but no menu in English. Be aware: very hard to pay by card.

The place is unique. Very well done, with a nice exotic touch. The breakfast was well served and tasty. The downside came at the moment of paying. The waitress was super stressed about us paying with card. It made us feel like we were not welcome anymore. Probably she didn't know how to use the machine. But that's not the customer's fault. We ended up paying more than 30 euros with spare change since we do not carry cash..

It's a great place to have breakfast or a tea break. Good quality products and wide offer. The service professional but not very friendly. You will have to pay with cash because they don't know how to use the card payment system.

Entering the café, I had the feeling this could become my favorite place in this area of town. Ambiente is nice and the colonial style is well implemented. But the personnel we had had me thinking about giving only one star. Place was at 30% capacity, still we waited and waited and waited. We even told the young lady that we want to order, and still nothing happened. In the mean time guest from the neighboring table left, unserved. Then I went to the counter to order. I asked the serving lady what the differences between Turkish, Greek, Croatian and Oriental Mokka are, but got no usable answer. Well, I then went on and took a “safe” choice, Americano, and for my wife a Latte Macchiato. Apart from the fact that they didn’t arrive any time soon, and we had to ask again for them, they tasted very good. So, this place has potential. Reading the other reviews, maybe we they just had one of those days.

Really good coffee, but really really good. The staff is friendly, however they are not very observant and therefore you have to wait long to order, which is a bit annoying. Still worth it though.

My favorite neighborhood cafe! Walking in here is like stepping back 80 years in time, every detail is superbly historical, the clientele seems mostly to be local regulars, reading newspapers while sipping their lattes. I tried their onion quiche too and it was excellent. The service was very friendly too, really a place to call your home away from home! PS they have wifi!

The place is nice and food is ok. Coffee is average. Do you like sweet stuff? Like to fly and bother others? So do the WASPS!!!! Never ever under any circumstances open the sugarpot.... You may release the infinite army of wasps that might ruin your breakfast...
